Iโm so happy to be working with @bulgari to mark International Womenโs Day and the launch of the new Bvlgari Bvlgari pendant. They have pledged to gift 10% of the necklaceโs first monthโs proceeds for me to donate to a charity that I admire. โ

It seemed pertinent to support those helping people who have experienced, and are experiencing, domestic abuse. For the past year home has meant to be the safest place for us but tragically it hasnโt been for all and still isnโt for so many.โ

I chose Southall Black Sisters; a not-for-profit organisation that provides a safe environment for people trapped in abusive relationships or at risk of violence. SBS have done amazing work for over four decades, both directly helping people and campaigning for the provision of proper support services to help survivors live in dignity. And whilst they were established in 1979 to meet the needs of Black, South Asian and ethnic minority women, they will help anybody in need - irrespective of age, gender, ethnicity or sexual orientation.โ

This is Bvlgariโs first ever customisable necklace and my one is engraved with โKaizenโ which is a Japanese proverb that I just love. It focuses on the idea of continuous incremental improvement through efficient practices and Iโve applied it to my sporting and working life for a few years now ๐ฑโ

Itโs so important that in these times, when inequalities and difficult situations are exacerbated, that we support charities, big and small, as they often find themselves on the front line dealing with these crises alongside emergency services - especially in cases involving people that have No Recourse to Public Funds. Iโm really happy that Bvlgari have wanted to donate to such a worthy organisation at this time. โ
