If you can’t love yourself, how the hell are you gonna love somebody else... Can I get an amen? 🤪

Right okay. Let’s try this again shall we 😅⠀ ⠀ Ready to attack my first week of training for the new #Tokyo2020 season 🔥 #dejavu #letsgetit

⠀ ‘Happy Black History Month’ 🥳🥴🤩🤨🥰🙂⠀ ⠀ My feelings towards BHM have always been conflicted. Whilst I obviously always love to see the spotlight on our figures, histories and successes, it has always irked me that for much of the mainstream this is resigned to just one month a year. ⠀ ⠀ We live this everyday but to some October is a big PR push, a conscience cleanser for their choice to omit Black culture for the other 11 months, or simply a time to commodify and use us to shift product when BHM was conceived to be a time to learn, amplify and recognise. ⠀ ⠀ For years I have been very hesitant to fully engage with it for those reasons, and also because some mainstream narratives tended to exclusively focus on struggle, hardship, enslavement and violence, portraying them as central to the Black narrative when we obviously know that that does not define who we are or our position in the world. We are excellence, joy, prosperity, intelligence, wealth, creativity, talent, leadership, innovation... I could go on forever because we are limitless. ⠀ ⠀ I’m saying this now because I truly do feel like this year is different. The tone is different this year. 2020 has been seismic for so many. ⠀ ⠀ I sincerely hope that Black History becomes integrated into our 365, and not just talked about for 31. But we will have to work and push for that. We need more diverse and honest teachings integrated into our understanding of the U.K. This shouldn’t just be Afro-Caribbean and African histories, but other cultures too. And we shouldn’t just try and understand them in relation to Europe, or through European interactions with them, but seek to see them as standalone cultures - each vibrant, fascinating and rich in different ways with unique contributions to the world. ⠀ ⠀ Modern Britain is diverse. Our knowledge and understanding should be broad to effectively equip each and every one of us for a more global future. ⠀ ⠀ Sending loads of love ♥️⠀ #BlackHistoryMonth #BHM #TBH365

Enjoying what may be my last bit of sun for a very long time 🥵

Another meet down, which included running a 75 for the first time since I was like 12. Got a pb... thankfully 😅 Enjoying having fun whilst getting the work in this year xx

C’est moi pour @wonderland and @LouisVuitton 🤩🤩⠀ ⠀ Got the chance to cover one of my favourite fantasy fashion publications. Wow! Dreamy in all senses of the word. ⠀ ⠀ I’m always excited for Wonderland’s issues to come out. I see their covers as artistically dipping into a kinda romantic, glossy and lucid state. And now I’ve done one too!!! 😆⠀ ⠀ Thank you so much to the kind people at Louis V + Wonderland for the opportunity 🤩⠀ ⠀ I’ve really enjoyed having the time to learn and evolve in a variety of areas this year - both on and off the track. This shoot was definitely an example of this... I love trying to be better! ⠀ ⠀ Sending endless love as always xxx⠀ ⠀ #LVVolt #Wonderland #LouisVuitton

In a drastic turn of events I’m doing a few races this year 😅⠀ ⠀ Popped out for a 150 at home last night to begin to wrap up 2020... aka the longest training block known to man 🤣 ⠀ ⠀ I haven’t raced at my home track in about seven years. This season has presented the perfect opportunity for me to pop up there + put in some work in front of my nearest and dearest. ⠀ ⠀ Stay tuned for a couple more xx

#ad Had a chat with @lancomeofficial about empowering women, pre-race beauty prep, my advice for those just starting out + of course their gorgeous new fragrance #IdoleLIntense 💅🏾⠀ ⠀ If you know me IRL then you know I’m constantly switching up my perfumes and always carrying one with me, whether that’s one I keep in my car, my track bag or one that I’ve had to squeeze into my handbag. ⠀ ⠀ Been wearing this one for a few weeks now and I’ve honestly had a lot of compliments 😂 It has notes of rose, jasmine and vanilla, and has been created to evoke excitement and the sense of strength, confidence and happiness. ⠀ ⠀ Hope you’re all well, and there’s a link to the full interview in my story xxx

well + truly feeling myself 💞💞💞
